Reachability service Pro
The SMS commands of the reachability service Pro allow you to check the status of the Cid number and activate the Time control, call forwarding, or Out of office profile.
In addition, you can choose whether to show the mobile phone number or the Cid number as the caller ID when calling from a mobile number assigned to the Cid number (see the section "Mobile number"). This additional functionality requires that you order the supplementary service Cid number from a mobile phone; for further information, see the section "Cid number from a mobile phone".
Status check
The command CID STATUS allows you to check the current status of your Cid number. The return message includes the current routing settings of the Cid number.
Time control
Command: CID TIME
The system sends the user a return message. The contents of the message depend on the settings of the Time control profile that were saved previously with Cid Manager's web-based user interface. For instance, the return message may look like this:
"Time control in use: 8:00am-4:00pm 1st 0204054310 2nd 0407543773 3rd 0427543773 4:00pm-8:00am 1st 0427543773 2nd 3rd The calling number displayed…"
The return message indicates the answering point numbers of your working time and leisure chains and their time limits. The message also indicates the number used as the caller ID for outgoing calls from the mobile phone (Cid number from a mobile phone). In the above example, the user's leisure chain has no 2nd or 3rd answering points.
Call forwarding
Command: CID FORWARD [phone number]
The command should include the phone number to which incoming calls are forwarded. For example, "CID FORWARD +358407543773" directs incoming calls to the number +358407543773.
Note: Calls cannot be forwarded to Cid numbers that are not active in Telia's intelligent network or to Cid numbers with the reachability service Answering Circle.
The system sends a return message to the user, for example:
E71
"Call forwarded to the number 0407543773. The calling number displayed …"
NB: If the phone number is defective, the system sends the following error message:
"Defective phone number: +3582040Y431a"
Out of office
If you activate an Out of office using an SMS command, the Out of office profile settings previously saved via Cid Manager's browser-based user interface will apply. If the Out of office feature has not been used previously, the default settings will apply.
In the SMS, you can also specify the time and/or date of return, in which case the caller will be informed of this as long as the message is activated.
Command: CID OUT [HHMM] [DDMMYY]
[HHMM] = time of return, HH=hours, MM=minutes
[DDMMYY] = date of return, DD=date, MM=month, YY=year
[HHMM] and [DDMMYY] need not be included in the command, if you do not wish to set a date or time of return. You can also include only one of the two. If you only specify a date of return with no specific time, the system will use the default time of return 8:00 a.m. If you only specify a time of return with no date, the system will use the present date as the default (in which case the time must be a future time).
Examples:
CID OUT
Activates an Out of office until further notice
CID OUT 1000
Activates an Out of office until 10:00 a.m.
CID OUT 010809
Activates an Out of office until 1 August 2009 at 8:00 a.m.
The system sends a return message to the user, for example:
"Out of office activated until 1 August 2009 at 8:00 a.m. The caller ID displayed…"
To deactivate the Out of office, send the SMS command CID BACK.
Cid number from a mobile phone
The commands CID IDCID, CID IDTIME, and CID IDMOBILE allow you to set the number that the recipient sees when the user calls, sends an MMS, or sends an SMS from a mobile number (i.e. a mobile phone subscription) assigned to a Cid number.
CID IDCID sets the Cid number as the caller ID.
CID IDTIME sets the Cid number as the caller ID during working time. Working time is a number-specific setting made in the Cid number management view via the web-based user interface. Outside working hours, the mobile phone number will be shown as the caller ID.
CID IDMOBILE sets the mobile phone number as the caller ID. |
