Out of office

Out of office is a convenient option when the owner of the number is not available or does not wish to receive calls. The Out of office profile makes it possible to inform the caller that the user of the Cid number is not available, and calls can also be directed according to a separate absence chain when necessary.

The selection "Out of office options" allow you to choose whether the caller will just hear the Out of office without absence chain routings (in which case the call ends after the message), whether the call will be routed directly to the absence chain, or whether both the Out of office and absence chain routings will be used.

The "Message contents" selection allows you to choose the contents of the Out of office that the caller hears. Besides the actual Out of office, you can choose to include the user's time of return in the message, provided that the message has a specified end time.

You can define separate SMS message routing and fax routing numbers during the out of office period in the "Additional settings".

In "Out of office time limit" at the bottom of the view, you can set a time limit for the Out of office. When the Out of office time limit is met, the active profile will automatically return to the situation that prevailed before the Out of office routing was activated.

NB! The only option during the out office is to deactivate out of office by pressing the "Return" button.

NB! If you activate the Out of office profile with an SMS command, the Out of office settings previously saved via Cid Manager's web-based user interface will automatically apply.
